Pakse

As mentioned in previous post, we arrived in Pakse, the capital of Champasak province. The city is quite small and to spend there the whole day is too much time 😉 But you can visit Daoheuang market,  which is certainly the biggest in southern Laos, and it was coconut heaven 🙂 Or the local cemetery or Wat Luang are nice places to look around. View of the city from golden Buddha was quite spectacular. The promenade by the river Mekong (of course what else) has good views to the other side, but I cannot loose feeling it is still missing something.  Maybe in next years it will be great place to chill out… 🙂

The other day we rented a motorbike to visit Bolaven Plateau. The rental Wang Wang was quite funny, he even forgot to take our driving licence or any other ID 😀 We are probably that trustworthy… The Bolaven Plateau is pretty masive so we just visited three places with waterfalls (Tads). Tad Fane offers really outstanding view, Tad Yuang is ok and Tad Pasuam are just mini waterfalls, but good place to chill out 🙂 We rode over 120 km, and this time on semi-automatic motorbike!

Jak jsme jiz psali, dojeli jsme do Pakse, hlavniho mesta Champasak provincie.  Stravit zde cely den je az zbytecne dost casu, ale da se navstivit Daoheuang trh, nejvetsi v jiznim Laosu, a tech kokosu!!! Nebo mistni hrbitov a Wat Luang jsou zajimava mista ke shlednuti. Vyhled na mesto z protejsiho kopce se zlatym Budhou byl skvely. Promenada podel Mekongu nabizi pekne vyhledy na druhou stranu, ale porad ji toho jeste dost chybi, aby to bylo dobre misto k odpocinku. Tak treba za par let… 🙂

Druhy den jsme si pujcili skutr a jeli se podivat na Bolaven Plateau,  nahorni plosinu s vodopady. Chlapik v pujcovne Wang Wang byl celkem vtipny, zapomnel si rict o ridicak nebo jiny doklad jako depozit 😀 Asi vypadame duveryhodne… Bolaven Plateau je vcelku rozsahle, tak jsme navstivili jen 3 mista s vodopady. Tad Fane nabizi velmi impozantni pohled, Tad Yuang jsou ok a Tad Pasuam jsou spis mini vodopady, ale nakonec to bylo skvele misto na koupacku a oddych 🙂 Najeli jsme pres 120 km, a to tentokrat na skutru jen s poloautomatikou 😉
