On Luzon island…

The Luzon island is the largest island of Philippines so it is gonna be a chalenge to go through it… And here is our story 🙂 From Manila we took a bus to Batangas, with the hope that it might be interesting place to see. But it was not 😀 You can go by ferry to Mindoro island from here, but we decided to continue on Luzon… The next day we moved to Lucena, where we expected to take a train to Legazpi to get to the south of the island…

We found train schedules on the internet and also night train coming to Legazpi city… But when we arrived to a train station, the situation was damn funny 😀 The station was half ruined itself and the railway did not look new… So after a speak with local lady we found out that train has not been operating since 2012, so probably 5 years is not enough to mention such news 😀

So we took a night bus from Lucena to Legazpi… Local night bus, have to say, with crazy driver on crazy road… Than such a night is unforgettable 😀 So hello from Legazpi 🙂

Ostrov Luzon je nejvetsi Filipinsky ostrov, tudiz to je vyzva dostat se na jeho druhy konec. A tady je nase cesta 😀  Z Manily jsme jeli busem do Batangasu s nadeji, ze tam uvidíme neco zajimaveho… Coz se tedy nenaplnilo 😀 Da se zde prejet na ostrov Mindoro, ale my se rozhodli pokracovat na ceste po Luzonu. Dalsi den sme prejeli mistnim busem do Lucena, kde jsme chteli nasednout na nocni vlak do Legazpi.

Na internetu jsme si nasli jizdni rad, ale na miste nas cekalo prekvapko. Nasli jsme pouze rozpadlou budovu nadrazi a zarostle koleje, na kterych si hrali mistni decka a popojizdelo nekolik drezin 😀 Mistni pani nam rekla, ze vlak nejezdi od 2012, tak asi tedy 5 let nestaci na aktualizaci infirmaci 😀

Tak jsme jeli do Legazpi nocnim busem, nutno rict ze nejakou mistni linkou, s silenym ridicem po silene ceste… Opet nezapomenutelny zazitek 😉 Tak zdravime z Legazpi 🙂
