Lombok

So Indonesia! And Lombok is our first island to visit… It is quite new in touristic destination, much less developed than the neighbour Bali, but this is actually the reason why people come here… We will see later which island is better 🙂 Anyway, there is almost no public transport, so if you want to get somewhere, it might be quite tricky. So we decided to spend few days at Kuta in the south of the island, where is definitely no transport connection. At least it is quite closed to the airport 😉

Kuta village seems to be prepared for tourists, there are many bars and restaurants, but for the moment rather empty. The south seacoast offers picturesque scenery 🙂 And it is quite fascinating how the sand can differ in places just few kilometres apart of each other… So then it was fun to explore the area on motorbike, especially on the local roads 🙂 Anyway, Tanjung Aan is very beautiful bay with white sand beach surrounded by hills offering great views over the ocean and landscape 😉 Absolutely gorgeous!

Tedy Indonesie! A Lombok je prvni ostrov na nasi ceste… Je to vcelku nova turisticka destinace, mnohem mene rozvinuta nez sousedni Bali, coz vlastne je duvod, proc sem lidi jezdi 🙂 Uvidime za par dnu, jaky ostrov je lepsi 🙂 Nicmene, na ostrove nefunguje skoro zadna verejna doprava, tudiz se nekam dopravit muze byt trochu orisek. My se vydali na jih ostrova do Kuty, kam krome taxi nic nejede. Aspon je to celkem blizko letiste 🙂

Mestecko Kuta vypada celkem pripravene na turisty, spousta baru a restauraci, jen zatim dost prazdne… Jizni pobrezi nabizi pekne malebne vyhledy 🙂 Fascinujici je, jak se ruzny typ pisku nachazi na jednotlivych mistech jen par kilometru od sebe… Projet si mistni cesty na skutru byla celkem zabava 🙂 Rozhodne zaliv Tanjung Aan stal za to, uz jen diky krasne plazi s bilym piskem a okolnim kopcum, ze kterych jsme si uzili vyhled na more i okolni krajinu 🙂 Naprosta parada!
