Donsol is a small village on the south seacoast of Luzon island, which was not known at all few years ago. But then it was discovered that whale sharks come here every year and it has raised the popularity exponentially… I don’t like the expression “one of the best thing I’ve ever done”, but to have a chance to swim with whale shark in his natural environment is definitely unforgettable moment! 🙂
This animals are so beautiful and relaxed, that’s why they call them gentle giants. We were actually really lucky, because we could swim with 8 metres long shark for several minutes. Imagine something like looking at huge dotted carpet, over 2 metres wide and very very long 😉 Few times I had to even move aside not to touch the fin or tail 🙂
Tito zraloci jsou naprosto nadherni a pohodovi, proto je take nazyvaji mirumilovnymi obry. Meli jsme vlastne obrovske stesti, jelikoz jsme mohli plavat nekolik minut s 8 metru dlouhym zralokem.
