We have reached a milestone as in the tale “Around the world in 80 days” 🙂 So is it possible to go around SE Asia in 80 days? Definitely not 🙂 So far we have visited five countries: Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines… We have seen so much and withal so little. Anyway, it is quite difficult to describe what’s like to travel here because it varies in each place, but few things are the same everywhere… So here are few spots we have experienced so far in every country…
Transport – probably the most crazy difference compared to Europe… It is hectic everywhere. People are lazy, so they tend to take their motorbike or taxi or any other kind of transport just to move 500 metres… And remember, sidewalks are good for parking, putting of food stalls, garbage accumulation, but not definitely walking 😀
Food – do not think that Asian cousine is something healthy. You may find some delicious meals, especially with coconuts hehe… 😉 But people here do not border with the ingredients content of any products they use. And believe me, you rather do not want to know… 😀 So then it is not surprise that people here are quite fat and fatter…
Ecology – this is sad part, because the sense for environmentally friendly behaviour is missing… Plastic bags rule the world! E.g., for few bananas you get at least two plastic bags. The western style should have never come here. People keep their habit when they finish their food to throw away the cover… When it used to be a banana leaf, it worked out nicely, but not with plastics… :-/

Tak jsme uz na ceste jako v tom pribehu “Cesta kolem sveta za 80 dni”… Da se projet JV Asie za 80 dni? To urcite ne 🙂 Zatim jsme navstivili 5 zemi: Thajsko, Laos, Kambodzu, Vietnam a Filipiny. Uz jsme toho videli spousty a pritom tak malo. Je ale tezke presne popsat, jake to je zde cestovat, protoze kazde misto je jine, presto se da najit nekolik spolecnych rysu. Tak zde je nekolik postrehu, ktere najdete v kazde z techto zemi…
Transport – asi nejvice blazniva vec v porovnani s Evropou. Hekticky je to vsude 🙂 A lide jsou vsude absolutne lini. I na presun 500 metru radsi sednou na motorku nebo do taxi ci jinyho prepravniho prostredku. Tudiz kdyz uz jsou tu chodniky, tak se hodi na parkovani, postaveni stanku s jidlem, hromadeni odpadku, ale rozhodne ne k chuzi 😀
Jidlo – no nemyslete si, ze asijska kuchyne je buhvijak zdrava. Sice se da narazit na moc dobre specialitky, hlavne s kokosem hehe… 😉 ale ze by mistni resili slozeni plechovek a smesi, co pouzivaji… A verte mi, radsi ho nechcete znat 😀 Tak pak vas neprekvapi, ze mistni tloustnou a tloustnou…
Ekologie – to je zde celkem smutna kapitola, jelikoz tu zadna neexistuje… Plastikove sacky vladnou svetu! Treba i par bananu dostanete do dvou pytliku… Zapadni styl sem proste nikdy nemel dorazit. Lide maji porad ve zvyku odhodit na zem obal od jidla… Kdyz vse balili do bananovych listu, tak to fungovalo, ale s plasty uz ne…
Tak to zatim staci. Priste se treba podelime o rozdily, ktere jsme u jednotlivych zemi zaznamenali… Dobrou noc 🙂
