If you look for the most chillout place in Laos it would be probably Vang Vieng… If you like party, you are definitely on the right place 😉 Vang Vieng is called peace of heaven on earth for its unique atmosphere and spectacular landscape. However, contemporary village is loosing its magic step by step by extensive expanding due to a significant interest of tourists and backpackers :-/ What used to be simply beautiful place to relax and enjoy everything is now turning to artificially created party town with huge hotels. The landscape is still amazing and viewpoint from Phangern Mountain was great, even for that another entry fee and million of screaming Asian pavians 😀 Othewise, the city is just full of bars, restaurants and hotels and is loosing its original glory of simpliness and genius loci very quickly. And remember, do not smoke weed, you have been warned 🙂
Jestli hledate misto, kde je mozne vsechno hodit za hlavu, bude to pravdepodobne Vang Vieng. Jestli mate radi party, tak jste stoprocentne na tom spravnem miste. Vang Vieng je nazyvan rajem na zemi diky svet atmosfere a uzasne krajine 🙂 Nicmene, soucasna vesnice pomalu ztraci sve kouzlo kvuli rozsahlemu budovani dalsich hotelu diky nebyvalemu zajmu turistu. Co drive bylo jednoduse krasne misto na relax a uzivani se meni v umele vytvorene party mestecko s hotely :-/ Krajina je ale nadherna a vyhled z kopce Phangern byl skvely, i pres dalsi poplatek za vylez nahoru a milion vresticich asijskych pavianu 😀 Oproti tomu mestecko je plne baru, restauraci a hotelu a ztraci svou jednoduchou krasu velmi rychle. A nezapomente, nekurte travu, byli jste varovani 😉
